AUCHI — The President, Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Joshua Suleiman, on Saturday, March 19 officially launched a free food restaurant in Auchi, Edo State.
The restaurant, Joliz Kitchen, which was built to mitigate the effect of Nigeria’s poor economic conditions, is in line with the activities to mark the Apostle’s birthday on March 24, 2022.
According to the cleric, the restaurant will feed at least 1000 people daily.
Addressing the audience at the launch of the restaurant, Suleman said, “What we have started today is something that will be going on forever.”
Speaking further to a cheering audience, the cleric said, “By the grace of God, you will not beg. You will not struggle and I want to appreciate everyone here today.”
Suleiman had in February 2022, during a church service, said he was divinely inspired to start the project.
According to him, he plans to feed 1,000 people, irrespective of their religion, with an estimated budget of 24 million monthly.
“There is a project that God is helping us to start, a mind-blowing project. It has been in my heart. A project to have a 12-hour restaurant, from 12 hours it will metamorphose into 24 hours; a restaurant to feed people free, we are spending 6 million naira weekly, 24 million every month, put all the budget in place, start it to be feeding at least a 1000 people every week,” he had revealed.
He added, “Just walk in there whether you are a Muslim or Christian. Hunger has no religious inclination.”
