YOLA — The Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese and State Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Dr. Stephen Dami Mamza has admonished Christians to spiritually journey with Christ Jesus throughout the holy week.
Mamza made the call while commemorating Palm Sunday mass which is the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem held at Saint Theresa Cathedral Jimeta.
“Christians world over particularly Catholic commemorate the day which ushers them into the holy week the final week of lent.
“Catholics should partake in the holy week lineup activities to enable them to have fruitful Easter celebration,” he said.
Speaking on the insecurity the country is facing, Mamza urged Nigerians never to loss hope rather intensified prayers and appealed to authorities concerned to rise up to their responsibilities of safeguarding lives and properties of it’s citizenry.
