Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has asked Nigerians to buy him the presidential form to enable him to contest in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
This is coming days after he set social media space on fire following the news of his second marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin who already has a son for him.
Edochie has trended on social media since he made the announcement on Wednesday. He has also received a lot of backlash from Nigerians.
On his social media pages on Saturday, the actor pleaded with Nigerians to channel the same energy they used to make him trend to buy him the form.
Sharing his campaign poster, he wrote:
“Did you see what we did on Wednesday? We shook the world and still shaking it. The energy you all are applying knows no tribe, no religion, no gender.
“The energy is coming from the North, South, East and West and all over the world. The energy is united.
“We’re on TV stations, radio, blogs, YouTube, every WhatsApp group, market, committees, street, hood, everywhere. With this energy, we can take back our country.
“I cannot do it alone. I need you, we need you. Nigeria needs you.
“My dear Nigerians, please I appeal to you, buy me presidential form let’s win this election.”
Yul will be contesting for the presidency on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
