Paul and Peter Okoye of the singing group, PSquare, have endorsed Peter Obi as the credible aspirant to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Paul charged Nigerians to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) and vote for Obi, who is running under the platform of the Labour Party (LP), stressing that failure to elect the right leader next year will lead Nigeria into “another eight years of backwardness”.

“My fellow Nigerians, pls get your PVC. If we miss this opportunity, it’s another 8 years of backwardness till 2031. #Obidiently,” he wrote

Paul’s endorsement is coming a few days after his twin brother, Peter also endorsed the candidacy of the former Anambra governor.

The singer who pointed out that he usually doesn’t engage himself in politics said he’s making an exception for Obi because he is the most qualified.

“I don’t like getting involved in politics but you see this man right here! He is the most qualified to save and fix our beloved country,” he captioned a photo of Obi he shared.

“A disciplined and principled man, Peter Obi will tell you the place, name, and time of what he did. Go and verify. Pls, give us PETER OBI. #PeterObi4President2023″.
