ABUJA — The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, shared a warm handshake with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo after winning the party’s presidential primary.
Tinubu polled 1,271 votes to defeat 13 other aspirants, including a former Transport Minister, Rotimi Ameachi and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who scored 316 and 235 votes respectively.

Tinubu will now slug it out on February 25, 2023 in the Presidential election with the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
