An American preacher, Bishop Lamor Miller-Whitehead and his wife, Asia K DosReis-Whitehead, were robbed at gunpoint in the middle of his live-streamed sermon on Sunday.

According to the New York Police Department, three “unidentified individuals entered the location, displayed firearms and demanded property from the 44-year-old male pastor and his 38-year-old wife. The individuals removed more than $1 million worth of jewelry from the two victims.”

The Rolls-Royce-driving preacher known for his flamboyant lifestyle was heard asking “How many of you have lost your faith because you saw somebody else die?”, then falling to the ground, repeatedly saying, “all right, all right,” after apparently seeing the armed men join the service.

Speaking on the incidence, Miller-Whitehead, in a video posted on Instagram, said he felt a “demonic force” enter the church and wasn’t sure if the gunmen “wanted to shoot the church up or if they were just coming for a robbery”. He said he’s thankful no one was hurt.

The preacher on Monday offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the robbers.
