Mavin Records won the ‘Fastest Growing Entertainment Brand’ in the 2022 edition of the Global Brands Award organised by Global Brand Magazine.
Global Brands Awards is an annual event held by Global Brands Magazine (GBM), an international publication headquartered in the United Kingdom.
The Brands Awards aim to recognise and reward companies that have performed remarkably well in finance, education, hospitality, automotive, lifestyle, education, real estate, technology and several more.
Mavin Records, a Nigerian record label founded by record producer and recording artist, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, was honoured in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the growth of the entertainment industry in Nigeria and Africa.
This marks the second time in a row that the company will be winning the award, having won same in 2021.
Home to Divine Ikubor, known as Rema; Sarah Aderibigbe, alias Ayra Starr; Ladipo Eso, known as Ladipoe; John Ighodaro, also known as Johnny Drille; Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon; and industry newbies like Adelabu Alexander, alias Magixx; and David Osemeke, known as Boy Spyce, the label keeps raising the bar on what excellence represents in the African music industry.
