Award-winning Nigerian actress, Hilda Dokubo is contesting for a seat at the lower chamber of the legislature under the platform of Labour Party (LP).
The 52-year-old actress declared her interest to represent Asalga/Akulga federal constituency in the House of Representatives via her social media handles on Wednesday.
“My dear people, I write to apply…Yours OBIdiently,” she captioned her campaign photo, soliciting for support.
Dokubo has been vocal about her support for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the LP, and identifies as an ‘Obidient’.
She had participated in a street rally in Port Harcourt which was put together by the supporters of Obi’s candidacy.
