The senator representing Lagos West, Solomon Adeola, and his Ekiti Central counterpart, Opeyemi Bamidele, yesterday, presented their national awards to Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sen. Adeola and Sen. Bamidele were among the over 400 recipients of national honours awarded by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, 11 October. The senators were conferred with the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) award.
Sen. Adeola took to his Facebook page and shared photos of himself and Bamidele as they presented their awards to Tinubu, whom he described as their ‘leader and mentor’.
His post accompanying the photos read: “Bourdillon school of progressive politics: I and Senator Opeyemi Bamidele presenting our national honour awards to our leader and mentor, the incoming president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Senator Bola Tinubu.
“Present at the presentation were two other proud and high flying products of Bourdillon school of politics, Hon. James Faleke and Mr. Wale Edun. We move to greater heights in 2023 by God’s grace.”
