Adamawa State Police Command has commenced investigation to unravel the circumstances behind the death of a muddle age man who was allegeded to have committed suicide.
SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) who confirmed the report, cautioned the general public to desist from taking laws into their own hands.
It was gathered that the middle age man Iliya Adamu, a bricklayer by profession and staff with Girei local government council of Adamawa State decided to hang himself over allegations by his brother that he stole N40,000 sometimes in April 2022, the allegations he denied.
It was further gatherered that the lifeless body of late Iliya who resides in Kwanan Waya of Yola South Local Government Area, Adamawa State was found dangling on a tree in a bush last Thursday with a container of insecticide found near the tree.
