Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), will be the guest at Chatham House, the United Kingdom’s foreign and policy think-tank institution, on 16 January.

Chatham House extended an invitation to the former governor of Anambra State last month.

The world-leading policy institute, in a statement published on its website, said the LP candidate is expected to speak on his plans for Nigeria and Nigerians if elected in the 25 February 2023 presidential election.

“Peter Gregory Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, discusses his vision for policy and governance reforms in Nigeria, including the priorities for tackling deep-rooted insecurity and corruption, and measures to promote social and political mobility for Nigerian citizens,” a part of the statement reads.

Obi’s interview at the Chatham House comes weeks after Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was hosted.
