Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi, has urged married gays to divorce their wives and embrace their sexuality.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Alimi said wives of gays were in bondage.
He, therefore, advised married gays to stop lying about their sexuality and ‘live their truth’. According to him, this is the only way they can ‘find inner peace’.
“Dear gay men, today is a good day to divorce your wife, set that woman free so you can finally live your truth and find inner peace. While it wont be easy, think about the cost of living a lie,” Alimi wrote.
His post is coming following the speculations that some married celebrities are gay.
In recent times, Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo and celebrity fashion designer Yomi Casual made headlines on social media as rumours spread that they are gay.
