The only female Gubernatorial candidate in Nigeria who is vying for the governorship seat in Adamawa has assured the electorates that if elected as Governor come 11th March 2023 she will change the fortunes of the state with her political influence and connection.

Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani (Adamawa Central) and the gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) stated this while flagging off her 2023 gubernatorial statewide campaign in Toungo town, headquarters of Toungo local government council.

While reassuring the electorates that if elected into office in 2023, they will not regret it, explained that she will press buttons where necessary for the social, economic, and infrastructural development of the state.

She stated that her government will revive the skills acquisition programmes and restore the Special Assistant scheme for human empowerment to reduce idleness among the teeming youth in the state.

Binani urged the electorates to vote for all candidates of the party from the presidency to councillorship seats for them to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

In his remarks at the occasion, APC stalwart in the state, Alhaji Mansur Toungo charged his teeming supporters and electorate to vote massively for Binani as Governor comes March 2023.

Mansur said Toungo is a home for the progressives and asked the gubernatorial candidate to go and campaign in other areas, but not in the Toungo axis.

Earlier, in his address, the member House of Representatives, representing Toungo, Ganye, Jada, and Mayobelwa constituency, Hon. Abdilrazak Namdas who was defeated during the gubernatorial primaries of the party stated that Binani is a sign of good things to happen in the state to become the first woman to be elected as Governor.

“My people, Senator Binani would make history in our state as the first woman to be elected Executive Governor by the grace of God. So vote for her in multiple. I am supporting her ambition”, Namdas said.

Namdas cautioned the electorates to be wary of the candidates vying for political offices noting that APC means well for the state and country at large.
