The Kafin-Koro Divisional Police Headquarters in Kafin-Koro District of Paikoro Local Government Council of Niger state has set ablaze some angry youths.
The youths were protesting the killing of the Parish Priest of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church Reverend Fr. Isaac Achi by bandits.
As of the time of filing this report, the value of items destroyed by the rampaging youths is yet to be ascertained.
The Niger State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the incident saying that it has been brought under control.
DSP Abiodun said reinforcement teams led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations have been drafted to the area and that normalcy has been restored.
