Yet to be identified aircraft has killed an unidentified numbers of local vigilante group in Galadima Kogo community of Shiroro Local Government Council of Niger state.

It was gathered that among those seriously injured in the incident include their Commander.

It was further learnt that during the attack several villagers were kidnapped and large number of cattle rustled in the process, stressing that bombardment seems like a mistaking identity.

Sources revealed that the incident occurred when the said aircraft bombed the camp of the vigilantes who were preparing for a counter attack against the bandits who raided their community early this week.

The Niger state Commissioner for Internal Security and Humanitarian Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Umar in a Telephone interview confirmed the incident, but could not give the actual number of casualties.

“The Niger state Government is battling with the survivors and injured and how to restore peace in the area and Niger state as a whole,” he said.
