A few hours after announcing that he has hired an unidentified new Chief Executive Officer, CEO, for Twitter, Elon Musk has revealed the identity of the incoming Twitter boss.

Musk announced Linda Yaccarino, NBCUniversal’s head of advertising, as his successor on Friday, confirming reports by various United States media that Yaccarino will take up the position as reported by The West African Pilot News.

His tweet reads, “I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter!”

The billionaire said the new CEO will be taking charge of the micro-blogging platform’s business operations in about six weeks while he will become Twitter’s executive chairman and chief technology officer, overseeing product design, software, and systems operations.

Musk also announced that a Twitter Spaces will be held “as soon as Yaccarino is ready” where Twitter users can ask “anything”, presumably regarding the new development.
