NewsNigeriaPoliticsHon. Somto Udeze Representing Ogbaru II Constituency in Anambra Rejoins APGA

Hon. Somto Udeze, the honourable member representing Ogbaru II constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly, has rejoined APGA from PDP. Udeze who is coming back to the Assembly to serve his third term in office from June 13th 2023, will be the most ranking member of the Anambra State 8th Assembly.

Only recently, Hon. Somto Udeze had admonished Igbo politicians to join hands and build APGA. In what appears as walking his own talk, he has joined APGA, the party that first brought him to Anambra State House of Assembly in 2015.

Hon. Udeze who was eagerly received back into APGA in his Atani ward by party members and leaders in Ogbaru local government area, expressed happiness with the governance credentials of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, which according to him, was a major attraction for rejoining APGA.

In attendance at the formal event of receiving Udeze back to APGA were Atani ward 1 and 2 Chairmen, Philip Ugboma and Chizoba, both of whom extolled Hon. Udeze’s credible representation and his correct judgment in rejoining the APGA family. Also in attendance was Onochie Obiorah, the Ogbaru local government chairman of APGA, among other party leaders.

Effectively, with this development, it is conceivable that permutations for who becomes the next speaker of Anambra State Assembly have been altered or so it seems.   \
