Guinness World Records, GWR, has approved an application by a young Nigerian to attempt to break the world record for the ‘longest marathon watching movies/films (cinema).’

On Saturday, an excited Israel Adebiyi, a law student of the Ekiti State University, EKSU, shared a screenshot of the email he received from GWR.

Adebiyi is seeking to take the title from Suresh Joachim from Sri Lanka.

Joachim watched movies for 121 hours and 18 minutes in Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 13, 2015.
