The member representing Ogbaru Constituency Two at Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze has emerged the Speaker of the Eight Assembly.
His emergence followed the proclamation of the eighth Assembly by Governor Chukwuma Soludo and it’s inauguration at the House of Assembly Complex, Awka.
After an election and call for nomination that a member-elect occupy the position of Speaker of the State House of Assembly, the member representing Ogbaru Constituency Two, Somtochukwu Udeze emerged.
Hon. Chukwuma Okoye, member elect representing Awka South Constituency two, emerged as the Deputy Speaker.
They duly accepted the nomination and were confirmed through a voice vote.
