The Senate on Monday confirmed 45 of the 48 ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Senate had spent one week of intense questioning for some and superficial introductions for others.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio put the nominations to a series of voice votes, of which three are said to still be undergoing security clearance they are former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, Stella Okotete (Delta State), and Abubakar Danladi (Taraba State).

The nominees confirmed as Ministers are as follows;

    1. Akwa Ibom: Ekperikpe Ekpo
    2. Bayelsa: Heineken Lolokpobri
    3. Cross Rivers: Betta Edu

4 Cross River: John Owan Enoh

    1. Delta: Stella Okotete X
