The Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has reiterated his administration’s commitment towards the provision of infrastructure, support, and policy for private sectors to thrive in the State.

Dr. Mbah stated this when he received members of the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (ECCIMA) at the Government House on Wednesday.

Applauding ECCIMA’s theme for the 2024 International Trade Fair slated to hold in April, the Governor said, the theme “Promoting Made in Nigeria Products for Global Competitiveness” re-emphasizes the importance of policy reforms in the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises SMEs) towards achieving a self-sufficient, productive, and export-based economy in Enugu State;

“I thank ECCIMA for their support and contributions to the economic growth of our beloved state; Investors are the core drivers of the Enugu State economy,” the Governor reiterated.

ECCIMA newly elected executive council was led by the CEO of Oaklands Hotel, Enugu, Sir Odeiga Jideonwo and Sir Rob Anwatu, Chairman ECCIMA Board of Trustees and CEO ROBAN Stores.

“The fair promises to host both local and foreign investors, and feature exhibition of new products, prototypes, innovations, and research findings from Enugu State for commercialization.”
