The Senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, has collaborated with Nnewi Concerned Citizens, to install Cloud T7 GPS and camera security system on centrifugal poles, across Nnewi, Anambra State. Nnewi is an important commercial and industrial centre in Anambra, Southeast, and Nigeria, as well as the political capital of Anambra South senatorial zone.
The Cloud T7 GPS and camera is an advanced security surveillance system that provides accurate monitoring and other precise details essential for the proper security of a place. The centrifugal poles help installed cameras to provide comprehensive coverage of an area which enables distant coverage, as well as keep the security gadgets out of the reach of vandals.
Cloud T7 GPS and camera installation are operational in Nigeria only in megacities like Lagos and Abuja. The gadget is built to pick up quality and clear images even while vehicles are in motion.
About one month ago, Ubah had said that he intends to reinvigorate the existing security architecture of Nnewi and subsequently Anambra South, to strengthen the gains made so far since his intervention on the security challenges of the zone over a year ago.
Within one month, Sen. Ubah has mobilized Nnewi Concerned Citizens and stakeholders, to move Nnewi into the level of security surveillance system enjoyed by Nigerian megacities. Announcing the feat, the Senator said that he was happy such an important security milestone has been achieved in Nnewi. “I am happy to announce the successful launch of T7 GPS/Camera security system on centrifugal poles in Nnewi. This is a topmost quality security system. I am proud to have this great feat achieved in Nnewi. To God be the glory,” Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah said.
He is a Technical Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano’s Special Adviser on Legislative Matters, whoonce was a Special Adviser to a former Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly. Ebuka is a second class upper division graduate of Political Science from University of Calabar, Calabar Nigeria and holds a Masters Degree in Political Science with specialization in Government and Development Studies, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nigeria
