The highly anticipated ninth season of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, has officially commenced with a grand launch, introducing 28 housemates to the Nigerian public.
The housemates, who will compete for a grand prize of ₦100 million, including a cash prize and an SUV, were introduced in 14 pairs.
The pairs include Zinwe (Chinwe and Zion), Radicals (Fairy David and Mickey), Florish (DJ Flo and Rhuthee), NdiNne (Nne and Chinne), Aces (Topher and Sooj), Shatoria (Shaun and Victoria), WanniXHandi (Handi and Wanni), Beta (Ben and Tjay), Mbadiwe (Ozee and Ocee), TAMI (Damilola and Toyosi), Nelita (friends for nine years), Streeze (Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh), Double Kay (Kassia and Kelly Ray), and Chekas (Onyeka and Chizoba).
Themed “No Loose Guard,” the show promises an action-packed 10 weeks of drama, entertainment, and competition.
The housemates promised to bring excitement, twists, and turns to the show, with some vowing to form alliances, scatter relationships, and keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
With a record number of housemates, this season is set to be the biggest and most exciting yet.
The race for the grand prize has officially begun. Who will emerge as the ultimate winner? Only time will tell.
