The Primary Campaign Council of Sir Paul Chukwuma under the directorship of Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezi, has commenced a series of engagements with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress – APC, in Anambra State.

On Tuesday, the engagement started with a meeting between the Campaign Council and members of the APC State Working Committee. Speaking, the Director General of the Sir Paul Chukwuma Primary Campaign Council, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezi, thanked the members of the Anambra APC State Working Committee for honouring the meeting, stressing that Sir Paul Chukwuma maintains a high regard for them and sees their meeting as a priority which is why it is the first in the series of meetings scheduled with the leadership of the APC.

Meanwhile, before the meeting’s commencement, a one-minute silence was observed in honour of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, whose sudden demise almost two months ago, remains a shock.

On Wednesday, the engagement of party leaders continued with the Campaign Council meeting with all the twenty-one local government leadership of the APC, and the ward leaders across the 326 wards in Anambra State. Hon. Ibezi who also revealed that Sir Paul Chukwuma and the Council have plans to tour the entire 326 political wards across the state, assured the State Working Committee members of the APC that the Council is working towards a well-structured network for the party to be able to emerge victorious at the poll in 2025.

In his reaction, the APC State Chairman, Basil Ejidike, said that he is impressed with the quality of persons serving in the Sir Paul Chukwuma Primary Campaign Council. Assuring of the party’s readiness to ensure that all aspirants get a fair chance to contest at the primary election, he disclosed that the National Chairman of the party will be invited to commission the party’s new office in Anambra State. According to Ejidike, the party is also ready to support whoever emerges from the primary as its candidate for the 2025 Governorship Election in Anambra State. “We are ready to support any candidate the primary election throws up…we must all work hard to get to power,” Ejidike said.
