The remains of First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, have arrived at Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, from the United Kingdom ahead of final burial rites scheduled to take place Friday, November 29, 2024.

The Akwa Ibom State Government had already declared Friday, November 29, 2024, a Work-Free Day in honor of the late First Lady, to enable Akwaibomites and other residents to pay their last respects.

Late Pastor Patience Umo Eno before her demise was a devoted wife, mother and philanthropist who assisted many during her lifetime.

Various dignitaries including Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other prominent figures have sent their condolences to the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State.
