The Governor gave the directive on Monday during expanded state Security Council meeting in the Government House; Yola tasked Emir and Chiefs to constantly convene meetings between herders and farmers within their domains with a view to prevent clashes between them.
The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barr. Awwal Tukur, who briefed newsmen after the meeting said the council focused mainly on issues of farmer-herder clashes during the meeting.
