The member of Anambra State House of Assembly representing Ogbaru I constituency, Hon. Noble Chukwunonso Igwe, who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts and one of the most active members of the House of Assembly in the 7th and current 8th Assembly, has lost his father, Pa Mmadukaejiaka Igwe, popularly known as Ichie Ozioma.
Until his death, Pa Mmadukaejiaka Igwe was a community leader in his village of Umuokpulukpu, Umuomaku in Orumba South local government area of Anambra State. In his more active years, he was a Catchiest in the Anglican Communion before he retired in 1990 and devoted the remaining years of his life to various community service engagements, which continued till his demise at age 92 years, only two weeks ago.
According to the funeral announcement signed by Hon. Noble Igwe, Pa Mmadukaejiaka will be interred on 11th January 2025, in his family compound at Ndiobu kindred, Umuokpulukpu, Umuomaku, in Orumba South local government area.
He is a Technical Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano’s Special Adviser on Legislative Matters, whoonce was a Special Adviser to a former Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly. Ebuka is a second class upper division graduate of Political Science from University of Calabar, Calabar Nigeria and holds a Masters Degree in Political Science with specialization in Government and Development Studies, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nigeria
