Two European universities have pledged more collaboration with Africa, Nigeria, and Nasarawa State University Keffi, in particular, in areas of research and teaching. This followed a recent visit by a team of mobility staff of Nasarawa State University led by Professor Nghargbu K’tso, professor of medical geology at the University and its Director of linkages and international cooperation, to some European Universities on teaching mobility. These latest efforts have earned Nasarawa State University more international cooperation with Zielona Gora University and WSEI University, both in Poland.

Only last week, Nasarawa State University maintained its lead on the Erasmus Grant in Nigeria, with four staff members of the university and six students making it to Europe through the Erasmus Mobility Grant. The beneficiaries of the Erasmus Grant at Nasarawa State University are from the departments of Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Nursing, Entrepreneurship Studies, and Public Administration. Within the past six months, the university has earned not less than eighteen international grants, excluding NAWA – Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange and UNESCO scholarships, which the University has also earned in considerable numbers.
So far, Nasarawa State University Keffi has earned a reputation as a Nigerian public university with credible international linkages. This has continued to expose its staff members and students to global opportunities.
