The Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning, and Multilateral Coordination, Bauchi State has signed the 2025 work plan with the United Nations Children’s Fund.
The signing of the work plan signifies the formalization and commitment of the two parties to achieving their goals and objectives for a successful and productive year.
Dr. Nuzhat Rafique, Chief Field Officer, UNICEF, Bauchi, while speaking during the ceremony, solicited the necessary support and cooperation from all stakeholders for the successful implementation of its activities.
“The work plan was jointly prepared with relevant ministries, agencies, stakeholders in the state, including health, education, WASH, nutrition, societal and behavioural change,” she said.
On his part, Bauchi State Commissioner Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning, and Multilateral Coordination, Amina Katagum, appreciated UNICEF for the partnership.
“The technical and financial support that the state has been receiving through UNICEF, especially towards child-related programs, and thus promised to also support its programmes to improve focus, efficiency and closing gaps where identified, ” she said.
