Inspector Ibrahim Usman attached to Divisional Police Headquarters, Jimeta have been arrested along with Papa Andema and Lele Audu members of a vigilante group for alleged assault and unprofessional behaviour.
The Adamawa State Police Command Public Relations Officer PPRO, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje in a statement said they were arrested on 14/4/2025 for conducting themselves in an unprofessional manner and incivility to members of the public.

The statement said: “the arrest was made in response to a viral video alleging assault and unprofessional behaviour on a tricyclist, an act that clearly violates the ethics and standard operational procedures of the police.
“The Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris,PSC (+), remains committed to upholding accountability and assures the public that appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken in line with extant laws and regulations”.
