The House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State Oversight has officially invited Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd.), the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, to appear before it for an interactive session.
The session will occur on Thursday, 17 April 2025, at 4:00 P.M. at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja.
The invitation follows the Committee’s inaugural meeting on Wednesday, 16 April 2025, after the formal inauguration of the Committee by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, on Tuesday, 15 April 2025. The meeting focused on reviewing preliminary reports and developments in Rivers State since Ibas assumed office.

The Committee has reaffirmed its commitment to conducting its duties with transparency, diligence, and strict constitutional adherence.
