…Says Voting for Opposition Will Worsen Nigeria’s Crisis

Prominent Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has issued a cautionary message to the nation, advising citizens to be wary of certain political figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a recent statement, Primate Ayodele specifically named former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-governnor of Anambra State Peter Obi, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as individuals whose leadership could exacerbate the country’s current challenges.

“Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai, Bala Mohammed, Seyi Makinde will make things more difficult for Nigerians, even worse than what Nigerians are going through under Tinubu now,” he warned.

The cleric further advised Nigerians to exercise patience with the current administration, expressing optimism about President Bola Tinubu’s potential second term.

“Tinubu’s second term will be better than his first term. The same Tinubu that has taken Nigeria to where it is now will also bring the nation out of its current situation in its second term. Nigerians should exercise patience,” he stated.

Primate Ayodele also addressed the formation of a potential ‘third force’ by opposition politicians aiming to challenge the incumbent in the upcoming elections. He cautioned that without divine guidance, such alliances might prove futile.

“Before any third force is formed, they should think well. If they all don’t come together, they are playing. Atiku cannot win any election, Obi cannot win an election on his own,” he remarked.
