There was a noticeable tension in Enugu State on Sunday when policemen clashed with members of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

It was also gathered that the clash had claimed the lives of two persons.

The report has it that many members of the IPOB were also injured.

According to an eyewitness, over 10 members of the IPOB were arrested.

Efforts to reach the Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, proved unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.

Also, calls put forward to the State Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Abdulrahman, were not answered.
