The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has endorsed #EndSARS protests going on across the country.

Adeboye disclosed his endorsement on his Tweeter handle on Wednesday evening.

The man of God tweeted, “Our daughters will not be able to prophesy and young men will not see visions if we don’t keep them alive.

“I support the youths in this peaceful protest as they “speak up” to #EndPoliceBrutality #EndSARS #ENDSWAT.”

Adeboye, earlier this year, had embarked on a protest against the killings in several parts of the country.

Two weeks ago, the popular Daddy G.O. call for the restructuring of the country, a call which was criticized by the Presidency.

Thousands of Nigerian youths have been protesting against the extrajudicial killings by policemen, the inhuman act is mostly perpetrated by the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

Despite the disbandment of the SARS operatives, the protest had continued. Many protesters argued that this will be the fourth time the Federal Government had announced the disbandment of the SARS Operatives which has ended up not being effective.

According to right group, Amnesty International, about 10 persons have been killed in the protests.
