Unity Bank recently offered its customers and other persons a unique experience in a virtual music concert. The concert which was described as an evening of fun, games, and live performances, was tagged, UBLive. The event took place on the official Instagram page of the bank.
At the event, the headline act, Adekunle Gold delivered awesome performances. Hosted by the comedian, Mr. Hyenana, the event featured other artists such as Khell Magic, TFS dance crew, and the 79th Element.
Disclosing what inspired the virtual concert, the head of the bank’s Corporate Communications, DeVoe Okorie, said, “Our resolve is to continue creating initiatives that would enable us always to reinforce Nigeria’s unity. This virtual concert, therefore, reaffirms that resolve and commitment. Also, at a time that the global pandemic has disrupted normal life, we feel that an activity like this can help to lift spirits and spread joy in the midst of uncertainties.”
Winners from the ‘Unity Bank Jingle Challenge’, who created their own unique covers to the original tune Adekunle Gold sang, also performed at the show. The bank went further to reward loyal customers with a cash prize worth of N1m by answering questions about Unity Bank and its brand ambassador, Adekunle Gold.
One of the five winners of the jingle challenge, the duo of Oyatoki Omolola and Olaoluwa Emmanuel, went on to deliver the jingle in sign language.
