As part of a humanitarian gesture to aid community policing in Kano state, a philanthropist who prefers to remain anonymous has donated a motor vehicle to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in the state.
Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, Kano State Commissioner of Police received the car, a Sharon Suzuki, from the donor who pleaded that his name is not mentioned.
The philanthropist who was at Dala Area Command said “the vehicle will assist in the area of logistics”.
Dikko, who described the gesture as one of the gains of community policing, called on the people to cooperate with the police.
The Commissioner of Police while handing over the vehicle to the Dala Area Commander Alhaji Mohammed Danladi, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) appreciated the donor and advised the Area Commander to make good use of the vehicle for safety and security of his area of responsibility.
