To dance another’s dance steps is to deprive your soul its freedom of expression.
To think another’s thought is to suffocate the elasticity of your mind.
To embrace war without defence is to dig a self-made grave.
To fume anger without understanding is to get burnt with strange fire.
To expect a harvest different from its seed is to nurture the weed of disappointment.
To compare oneself to another is to fix round pegs into square holes.
To sew one’s clothes with others’ measurement is to embody unfit works.
To pattern one’s life in another’s blueprint is to strangle the honour of authenticity.
To fill your cart with items from another’s shopping list is to trade your gold for alien desires.
The above are the results of a fellow who yells in frustration:
I want to be able to want what i want because it is what i want, not because it is what the world wants me to want.
