YOLA — The newly elected Chairman Administrative Officers Association Adamawa state chapter Comrade Jesses Buba Lassa has said the welfare of the members will be the hallmark of his administration.

He made the remark, during the inauguration of the new executive members of the association held at Admiral Murtala Nyako Training Centre Yola.

Comrade Lassa lamented that members of the association were not carried alone by relevant organs of government, and stressed the need for members to support and cooperate with the new executives so that they can wipe out their tears.

Earlier in his speech, the outgone chairman, Comrade Christopher Daniel enumerated the achievements of the former Executives to prepare the constitution of the association, get the Administrative salary Bill passed by the state assembly, register the association with the state government among others.

He charged the members to extend the same support given to them to the new executives so as to take the association to a greater height.

Barrister Abubakar Suleiman Digil of the State Ministry of Justice who administered the oath of office charged the new officials to abide by the oath they had taken.

Those sworn-in are Jesses Buba Lassa as Chairman, Halimat Adamu Yunusa Vice Chairman, Abubakar Ibrahim Jimeta Secretary, Amos Yoila Hinjari, Assistant Secretary, Rukayyatu Hassan Treasurer, and Sylvia Philemon Welfare Secretary.

Others are Bakari Usman Assistant Welfare Secretary, Ahiwa Shehu Public Relations Officer one, Paul Moses Bakari Public Relations Officer two, and Denis Haslon Auditor.

The Highlight of the event was the handing over of documents by the former Chairman to the new Chairman.
