Nollywood actor, Williams Uchemba has decried the high rate of fake products in the country.
Uchemba took to his Instastory to lament on Friday, stating that the number of fake products in the country are more than the original products.
He added that it is painful that some vendors still sell counterfeit products at the price of the original.
The father of one suggested that vendors should have both fake and original products so that those who cannot afford the original will have the option of buying the fake.
He concluded by stating that the government is not entirely to be blamed for the problems bedeviling the country. According to him, the citizens contribute to these in little ways.
He wrote, “The fake products in this country are more than the original.
“And the painful part is that some of these vendors will sell the fake for the price of original. Even if you must sell fake, why can’t you have the fake and the original so that anyone that can’t afford the original will then have the option of buying the fake?
“Sometimes, our problem is not the government, our problem is us.”
