In anticipation of his upcoming inauguration on May 29, President-elect Bola Tinubu has selected a group of celebrities to be members of the entertainment committee.

According to a viral list on social media, actress Eniola Badmus, who has always been a vocal supporter of Tinubu’s presidential ambition, was appointed the chairperson of the committee.

Other members of the committee from the entertainment industry include veteran actor Saheed Balogun, actress Toyin Abraham, comedian Seyi Law, singers Lawal Olalekan, better known as Konga, and Chukwudi Agali, also known as Chuddy K.

Like Badmus, Toyin Abraham and Seyi Law have been ardent supporters of Tinubu from day one.

Recently, the stand-up comedian took to social media to share screenshots of a death threat on his daughter his wife received because of the family’s political affiliation.

With the appointment, it could be said that their support has been recognised and rewarded by the incoming government.
