A 53-year-old suspect identified as Usman Tela Ahmadu, a resident of Samunaka, Yola North Local Government Area of Adamawa State has been arrested for Sexually Assaulting a Mentally Challenged Minor.
According to the spokesman of the command, SP Suleiman Yahya Nguroje, the Suspect, hails from Maiduguri in Borno State and resides in the Area as an Internally Displaced Person (IDP) receiving gifts and undue support/ sympathy from the locals.
The release reads in parts: “The suspect further reveals he sexually assaulted the Mentally Challenged Girl four times started the year 2021.”
