Police Officers and other law enforcement agents have been charged to act by the force’s Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and other extant laws guiding their overall conduct.

Adamawa State Commissioner of Police CP Dankombo Morris gave the charge during Police/Community engagement “a Framework to prevent Shilla Gangsterism Kidnapping, Armed robbery, Cattle Rustling and other nefarious activities across the Northern Zone of the state.

He warned that any Police Officer found acting contrary to their oaths of office or behaving in a way and manner prejudicial to discipline will be strictly and personally held liable.

 

He warned them against actions and utterances that could be inimical to peace.

The Commissioner of police who interacts with critical stakeholders, PCRC executives, Community leaders, Hunters /Vigilante leaders,  representatives of Grazers and Farmers, Business Men, and Divisional Police Officers in the zone, stressed the need for them to key into the Strategy already adopted by the Command to deal with all forms of Crimes in the state.

His Royal Highness the Emir of Mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, CFR, the Senior and critical stakeholder expressing his maximum support to the laudable initiative by the command, thanked the Commissioner of police for the visit to his Kingdom.
