The Nigerian Immigration Service has confirmed the arrest of the notorious native doctor and ritualist, Obi Levi Obieze, by the Lagos State Border Patrol Command at Gbaji checkpoint along Badagry-Seme road while attempting to flee the country on a motorcycle.

A press release signed by the Service Public Relations Officer, ACI Akinlabi, states that the identity of the suspect was confirmed through a National Identity Management Commission enrollment slip found in his possession by the vigilant men of the Service.

Obieze is currently in the custody, and the NIS is collaborating with the Nigeria Police Force for the suspect’s handover and further investigation.

Recall that Obi Levi Obieze was declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force for alleged involvement in abduction, kidnapping, and ritual killings in Enugu state.

Luck ran out on Obieze, a known native doctor residing in Umuojor Village in Isiagu Community, Enugu state, when his cohorts abducted a 13-year-old girl walking to the farm with her father.

The girl whose identity was withheld by the police was rescued on 27th May, 2025
