The Paramount ruler of Huba Chiefdom in Hong local government area of Adamawa State, Tol Alheri Bulus Nyako, has lauded troops for dislodging terrorist camps that have been terrorizing some communities in his domain.

The Monarch, in a statement by the Secretary of the Huba Chiefdom, Alhaji Abba Saleh, expressed delight with the coordinated joint military operation conducted in the domain on August 26 and 27, 2026, despite the rugged and difficult terrain.

The Royal Father noted that the operation once again affirmed the gallantry and professionalism of the Nigerian Armed Forces and their ability to deal decisively with the insurgency problem.

“We commend the Office of the National Security Adviser Tactical Team and the newly deployed troops of 226 Battalion, Sector 4, Operation Hadin Kai, under the directive of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, NAM, and the entire Armed Forces for this exceptional achievement. We also commend the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri CON, for his relentless support in tackling the insurgency problem,” the statement said.

Tol Huba appeals for the sustenance of military presence through the local military post, and for intensified search and rescue operations to secure the safe release of abducted sons and daughters.

The traditional institution said it is confident that with continued determination and commitment from the gallant troops, victory will be achieved and lasting peace will be restored to our communities in particular and Nigeria in general.
