Mr. Timawus Mathias, the Nzobyalata Hama Bachama and Spokesman of Bachama Kingdom, who confirmed the death in a telephone chat on Sunday, said that the deceased died in the early hours of June 28, 2020, at his palace in Numan, Adamawa.
“He died following a brief illness. Already the funeral rights are well underway according to Bachama tradition in Lamurde, the Kingdom’s headquarters.
“The King was a retired officer of the Nigerian Army who ascended the throne in 2012.
” It’s a painful exist and a great loss; late Homun is a bridge builder and peace-loving leader that helped in ensuring peace reigns in his domain.
” A detribalized leader whose vacuum will remain green in our hearts, adieu Homun…
” As am talking to you people from all walks of life irrespective of religion or tribal inclination continued to troop in here in Lamurde…,” said Chief Timawus Mathias.
the late Hama Bachama was the 28th ruler of the Bachama kingdom and he took over from Homun Asaph Zadok, who ascended the throne in 2012 .
Zadok, took over following deposition of former Hama Bachama, Mr. Freddie Soditi Bongo.
