Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has frowned at violators of Coronavirus precautionary measures in the state, vowing that anyone found guilty of breaching the rule henceforth will be arrested and dealt with.

Ganduje while addressing the press declared wearing face mask compulsory in the state.

Ganduje noted that henceforth, anyone found not wearing his face mask would be arrested, prosecuted, and sent to prison.

“There was no reason for residents to move around without face masks as the government has made masks available to everyone and that people could also wear anything to protect themselves and others,” Ganduje was quoted saying.

He, however, promised that his administration would make available a million and more face mask to residents as parts of its means to combat Coronavirus in the state.
