Ikorodu Bois, a comedy group famous for recreating music videos and Hollywood movies, has received high tech equipment for filming and video editing from video streaming giant, Netflix.
The group which is made up of 3 brothers, Babatunde Sanni,23; Muiz Sanni, 15; Malik Sanni, 10; and their Cousin, Fawaz Aina, 13, shared a video of the gifts on Twitter.
The eldest, Babatunde Sanni, films and edits their videos and manages the group.
“Guyssss!! @Netflix sent us this present omg! Thank you guys @Netflix,” the elated boys wrote.
Popular Nigerian movie producer and director, Kunle Afolayan, presented the gifts to the group.
“I’ve said this before ‘the only thing that can stop man, is if he does not try’ these talented boys @Ikorodu_bois are a perfect reflection of hard work, passion and undaunted creativity… and they were rewarded big time for their craft,” Afolayan wrote on Twitter.
The group has drawn attention and received commendation from many celebrities. In June, they got an invitation from Hollywood producers, the Russo Brothers, to attend the premiere of the movie Extraction 2 after they recreated the trailer of the movie.
