Bachama Communities in  Adamawa state have on Monday in their dozens thronged into Numan town to welcome their new monarch  Homun Daniel Shagah Ismaila.

Homun Daniel Shagah Ismaila hailed from Nokodomun clan, he succeeded  Late Homun Honest Irmiya Stephen who died on June 2020, after a brief illness.

The new monarch received a rousing welcome from Bachama speaking Communities who turned out to receive him on his way to Numan after completing traditional rites in Lamurde.

Traditional rites being performed by Bachama citizens to welcome their traditional ruler.

Our correspondent who witnessed the procession reports that Bachamas, men, and women, the young and elderly took to major streets of Numan to receive their ruler chanting songs of solidarity, support and loyalty.

Homun Daniel Shagah Ismaila en route to Numan walked through Hadiyo, Mbemun, Ndubange and Gyawana communities and rounded off traditional rites of Imburu before proceeding to the palace in Numan.

Prominent sons and daughters of the Bachama Kingdom including politicians and traditional title holders we’re among people that escorted the King to the Palace in Numan.

Bachama’s, men, and women, the young and elderly took to major streets of Numan, Adamawa State, to receive their ruler chanting songs of solidarity, support, and loyalty.

Homun Shagah, a former Director, Finance and Administration of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA was  at various time headed the agency in acting capacity before his torment and subsequent appointment as Homun Bachama as approved by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
