The Federal College of Education, F.C.E Yola has commissioned six projects executed under the Tertiary Education Trust Fund TETFund as facilitated by the Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF.

The project includes Bappa Aliyu Muhammad Sports Hall, 1000 Capacity sports Hall, School of early childhood care and primary education, Aminu Ahmad Chiroma Auditorium Directorate of I.C.T as well as Arts and social science complex.

Speaking at the event, the Provost of the College, Prof Abdulmumini Sa’ad said from 2012 the management of the College had embarked on a mission of transforming the College into a befitting center of academic excellence.

“Since the initiation of this idea, the management has remained steadfast in making tremendous strides in actualizing this dream.

“I must commend the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Barr Boss Mustapha for his intervention and ensuring the college has the befitting environment for teaching and learning”. He said.

In his message, the Minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu said both Federal and State Governments have done well in education and called on lecturers to continue to work hard.

Represented by Director, Tertiary Education Malama Rakiya Gambo Iliyasu in the Ministry, the Minister saluted Governor Fintiri of Adamawa State for improving teachers’ welfare in the state.

Also in his message, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri represented by the Head of Civil Service Adamawa state Dr. Edgar Amos Sunday explained that his administration will continue to give education the desired attention.
