Fombina FM Yola, Adamawa state capital is again thrown into mourning as it lost two staff in less than 24 hours.

Fombina FM is a Yola based local radio station, is a stable of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

Mr. Fidelis Jocthan a staff of the station who is also the secretary of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ),  Adamawa state chapter confirmed the death.

” It’s with great shock and bewilderment that  I can confirm the missing colleagues this is heartbreaking.

“Radio Nigeria Fombina FM Yola lost two staff on 31-12-2020.

“Serah Thomas  ‘daughter of Zion (Duty continuity Announcer) and Zakiyya Ahmed (Marketing Department) have gone forever.

“The sad news came on new year eve 2021,” he stated.

This is the second time the station is losing its staff in the just bid 2020.

It could be recalled that earlier January 2020, a reporter with the station Maxwell Nashon was murdered.
